Research Summary: Dr. Nettles is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Biochemical Pharmacology. He received his M.S. degree in Biomolecular Chemistry and a Ph.D. in Molecular and Systems Pharmacology, both from Emory University. His post doctoral training was at the Novartis Institutes for Biomedical Research based in Cambridge, MA.  Dr. Nettles will conduct research in the areas of novel drug discovery for HCV and HIV with focus on addressing molecular mechanisms of acquired resistance.
