Qiao Li, PhD

Assistant Professor, Biomedical Informatics

Research Summary: Dr. Li's research interests include multidimensional biomedical signal processing, advanced patient monitoring, artifact and noise analysis, machine learning, and large physiological database analysis.

Dr. Li is trained as a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Shandong University, China, for which he received a prestigious national scholarship to undertake part of the training at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology under the supervision of Prof Gari Clifford. His PhD research received the Martin Black Award from the Institute of Physics. Dr Li received his postdoctoral research training at the University of Oxford. Since 2001, he has served as faculty at the Institute of Biomedical Engineering, School of Medicine, Shandong University, China. Since 2011, he has worked in Dr. Gari Clifford's research group at the University of Oxford and more recently at Emory University.
